Made possible through fundraising donations and installed by community volunteers, it’s a safe haven for kids to enjoy swings, slides, and other playground equipment. We invite children to play, but please ensure safety and respect for the equipment.
The Boardwalk
Our Commemorative Boardwalk Boards provide a unique way to celebrate special occasions, commemorate family memories, or honor loved ones. These personally engraved boards will be placed randomly along the new walkway at Bay Beach, leading to the entrance of the Boat Basin tunnel along Whale Creek. If you’re interested in ordering a board, please complete the Boardwalk Order Form and submit it with payment to the office.

Kayak, Canoe, and Paddleboard Launch & Storage Racks
Our Bay Beach offers 102 storage racks for kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Each rack costs $50 for the summer season, with an optional $50 off-season storage fee. Each rental includes one decal; additional decals are available for $10 each.
There are still storage slots available. Here’s how to apply for a storage slot for this season:
- Download, complete, and sign the Kayak Storage Rack Rental Agreement and the Kayak Launch Site Release of Liability forms.
- Mail them with your $50.00 payment to Ocean Beach & Bay Club, 3305 Heron Lane, Lavallette NJ 08735.
If you only wish to use the launch site (without renting a storage rack), you may do so for a $10 fee by completing and returning the Paddlecraft Liability Release Form.
Please display your decal prominently on the left side of your kayak, canoe, or paddleboard. For security, lock your paddlecraft to the rack—bungee cords are not permitted.
Rinse stations are available for washing down your paddlecraft before storage. To join the rack wait list, please complete both the Paddlecraft Storage Rack Rental Agreement and Paddlecraft Liability Release Form and submit them to the club office.
Renters may purchase weekly launch-only permits at the club office for $10.00.
All paddlecraft must be removed from their racks by November 1 unless you have paid the off-season storage fee.
Boat Basin Access
With 38 slips available for rent in our Boat Basin, members in good standing may request a slip for the season at a rental cost of $100. Complete the Boat Basin Application & Agreement and provide proof of insurance, boat registration, and New Jersey issued numbers for approval. Remember, all vessels must be removed from the boat basin by November 1st, and the basin will be shut off on November 2nd.
