Patrol Officer – Summer 2026 at Ocean Beach III (OB3)
Ocean Beach III is seeking Patrol Officers for the 2026 summer season. This seasonal position is ideal for retirees, school teachers, and young adults interested in gaining experience in the security field.
Season Dates: Last two weeks of June and all of July and August
Available Shifts:
- Day Shift: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Pay: $20.50 per hour
Position Overview:
Patrol Officers are responsible for maintaining community standards and enforcing club rules within our 1,000-home private community. Officers patrol the community using a company-provided work truck and focus primarily on code enforcement duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol the community to ensure compliance with OB3 rules and regulations
- Enforce parking rules, including relocating vehicles parked on streets
- Monitor construction activity for compliance
- Enforce the 11:00 PM noise ordinance
- Address and document violations outlined in the OB3 Members Rule Book
- Maintain a visible presence to promote safety and order
