SUMMARY:Kayak Storage Rack Registration is Due by March 1
DESCRIPTION:ALL RENEWALS for the Kayak Storage Racks Rentals must be submitted BEFORE March 1\, 2026. \nWe are excited to kick off the 2026 Season with information about our bay beach kayak launch site that includes 102 kayak storage slots. The launch site is off the bay beach\, near the boardwalk. The storage racks are nearby just north of the playground\, with easy access to the launch site. You may store and launch kayaks\, paddleboards\, and canoes from there. \nStorage racks cost $50.00 each for the season and are for the exclusive use of Ocean Beach & Bay Club members in good standing. Storage racks are also available off season (Nov 1 – April 1) for an additional $50.00 fee. \nHow to renew your storage slot for this season: \n\nDownload\, complete\, and sign the Kayak Storage Rack Rental Agreement and the Kayak Launch Site Release of Liability forms.\nMail them with your $50.00 payment to Ocean Beach & Bay Club\, 3305 Heron Lane\, Lavallette NJ 08735.\n\nForms and payment must be received by March 1\, 2026. After that\, slots will be released to members on the waiting list. \nIf you do not wish to use your storage slot this season\, please email info@oceanbeach3.org ASAP so we can release it to a member on the waiting list. Members on the waiting list will be notified if/when they have been assigned a slot (first come\, first served). You will have two weeks from the date of notification to return the forms and payment described above. \nEveryone who has a slot will be notified of their slot number by early April and mailed a permit decal. Please affix the decal to the front left side of your kayak\, paddleboard\, or canoe. Please provide your own lock for the storage rack. Chains will be provided by the club. \nIf you only wish to use the kayak launch site\, members can purchase launch-only permit decals for the season for $10.00. Please mail your $10.00 check and a completed Kayak Launch Site Release of Liability form to Ocean Beach & Bay Club\, 3305 Heron Lane\, Lavallette NJ 08735. When you receive the permit decal\, please affix it to the front left side of your kayak\, paddleboard\, or canoe.
