DESCRIPTION:Want to tryout to be a lifeguard in OB3 for the 2023 Summer season? \nTryouts are taking place on Saturday April 1st\, from 4:00 – 5:30 pm\, at Toms River Fitness  – 213 NJ-37\, Toms River\, NJ 08753\n \nAnyone is welcome to try-out.\nSwim portion:  Applicants must swim 200 yards in under 4 minutes\,  to be considered for a position.\nStrength:  Applicants must be able to pick up 2- 75 lb. dumbbells\, and carry them for 50 feet continuously\, to be considered for a position.\n \nReturning guards that are away at college can video tape their re-certification and e-mail it to our head lifeguard\, Don.

SUMMARY:Remove all Watercraft from Bay Beach & Boat Basin
DESCRIPTION:KAYAK/KAYAK RACKS:  \n\nAll members who rented a kayak slot for the 2022 season need to remove their kayaks by November 1\, 2022.\nThose members who rented a kayak slot for the 2022 season will have the same slot for the 2023.  If you elect not to use the slot for the 2023 season please advise the office so we can assign it to members who are on the waiting list. Also contact the office if you want to request a slot change.\nWe will determine in early 2023 whether or not we will expand our kayak slots to accommodate members who were unable to secure a kayak slot in 2022. More on this to follow. However\, if you are interested in securing a kayak slot for 2023 and your name is not on the waiting list I recommend you contact the office to add your name to the waiting list. Additional slots\, if available\, will go to members on the waiting list in the order their names were received.\nRinse station at the bay beach will be turned off on November 1\, 2022 so you can continue to use the launch site into the fall.\n\nBOAT BASIN:  \n\nAll vessels (boats and jet skis) need to be removed from the boat basin no later then  November 1\, 2022.\nThe boat basin water will be shut off on November 2\, 2022. If you currently have a jet ski dock in the boat basin and plan to leave it for the 2023 season you must pay a $25 deposit\, per slip\, at the Ocean Beach & Bay Club office by November 1.  This deposit will be deducted from your slip charge for the 2023 season.  Otherwise you need to remove your jet ski dock and poles by November 1.
