SUMMARY:OB3 Special Membership Meeting
DESCRIPTION:During the OB3 Emergency Board Meeting on 2/13/2024 the Board voted to present the sale of the office located at 101 West Sea Way & Rt. 35 North in the amount of $425\,000. This is a cash offer negotiated from an initial offer of $375\,000 with an asking price of $450\,000. As was seen by the unanimous Board of Trustees vote to present this offer to the membership\, this is a great opportunity.  \nThe funds received from this sale will go directly toward the construction of our new clubhouse\, which is well underway. The funding plan for the Clubhouse has always included the sale of our office. Without the sale of this property\, we could all be facing a special assessment of $500. \nThe Board of Trustees invites all members to a Special Membership Meeting on Monday\, March 4th at 7:00pm. This meeting will be hosted on ZOOM and for anyone who wishes to attend in person at the club office. This will be a brief discussion\, a chance to ask questions\, followed by an online vote open immediately after the meeting\, and closing Wednesday March 6th at 7pm.  \nThe Board asks for your support with a vote of YES to sell the property\, allowing OB3 to continue forward on this exciting path to an amazing grand opening of the new clubhouse.
